The MDCAT merit calculation process in Pakistan follows a standardized weighted formula designed to evaluate students across three important academic milestones. The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) mandates that all medical and dental colleges across the country use this formula to create a fair and transparent merit list for admissions.
Step 1 - Calculate MDCAT Percentage: Your MDCAT score is converted to a percentage by dividing your obtained marks by the total marks (200) and multiplying by 100.
